The F is for Film website will go live on October 16th if all goes according to plan. I have not figured out which episodes will be completed and ready to go by that time but I would not launch without killer new content. Rest assured this is a NEW SHOW in almost every respect.
After that I’ll begin filming on Ronson. Can’t wait to shoot at the shore in short sleeves in 50 below weather.
The last episode of this season is now playing. We’re hard at work on new episodes, hopefully it won’t be too long. I’m feeling a little emotional about finally having the full body of our work out there and knowing, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that we’re well on our way to making something ten times better. I just spent last Friday having my friend’s nuts knocked around by various things and people for a new episode and it was fulfilling in a way nothing else in this world could ever compete with. I’ll let you know when I have my first child if the elation compares.
I know what you’re thinking… “Boo, I can’t make a balloon sandwich. I never graduated from Rubber Culinary Arts School.” You know what I say? Screw Culinary Arts School. Bunch of know-it-all “chefs” with their fancy recipes and ingredients. With F is for Film Episode 4, anyone can learn to make a balloon sandwich with our easy step-by-step instructions. Just visit our YouTube page for more information.
Sorry for the delay. I was finally able to work out my YT issues through much beating of fist upon chest and the useful tips of my fellow YouTuberians. For the time being, we are back in swing of things which swing.
EPISODE 3 of our show is now online and features one of the grossest opening skits we did along with a bizarre tribute to ACTING!! in M Night’s sure-to-be classic “bad movie night” flick. All can be seen at our YouTube Channel where comments are encouraged.
I Love Zombies Ch.2 is coming this week. I was too busy working on this other stuff to get it in shape.
As promised. F is for Film Episode 2: F_THEDARKKNIGHT is NOW PLAYING on our YouTube Channel. As I stated earlier, this was the first episode in the production run, so don’t be surprised if things are a little rockier than our previous installment. Also, the ending… we don’t hate your comments and opinions, don’t fuck off, that’s more a personification of know-it-all-ism. We love you. We want your comments and feedback.
Hiya there my lovely Inu-tachi, why the long faces?
I have now officially passed the cutoff date for “The New Year,” having just waved goodbye to the Chinese iteration this past weekend. Are there any other New Years I could use to stretch the release date on I LOVE ZOMBIES a little further?
My apologies to the threes of you waiting on my long delayed never-rumoured serial novel. A lot of behind the scenes issues on the technical side have stopped the forward momentuming.
I considered posting something here to whet your appetite but I kind of want it consumed in its own environment like how an astronaut eats freeze dried ice cream in space and thinks it’s the bee’s knees but here on earth it’s just foul.
Thanks to everyone and anyone who watched F is for Film Episode 1 on YouTube (you know who you are, hero) . Tell all your friends about us! Episode 2 F_THEDARKKNIGHT drops next weekend with the rest to follow every two weeks there after. It was actually supposed to be the first episode chronologically but Speed Racer, which was filmed fourth, was so much tighter and more visually arresting. TDK is still pretty badass tho’ and features the first appearance of several running gags.
I just pitched the next episode from the new production batch, and I’m hoping we can go into production in the first week of Feb and have a faster turn around -now that we know what we’re doing.
On the Yochien Ronin front, Ying and I have written an odd new song. It’s probably going to be our next release if we ever get around to recording it. At gunpoint I would describe it as “a rocking sea shanty” or perhaps, “a spiritual drinking song”. I’m especially proud of the harmonies we came up with, something we didn’t attempt with any of our previous works. The lyrics are probably my most effecting yet. I just hope when translated they still retain their power.
Aside from the holy trinity, there are a few new things brewing here but it’s far too early to discuss them. Hopefully, I’ll have news on that front in the coming months.
Wishing y’all the best, Happy New New (possibly New) Year.
F is for Film Episode 1: F_SPEEDRACER is now up on the F is For Film YouTube Channel. Make sure to leave us a comment on the YouTube video since the other members of the team won’t see them if you leave them here. Thanks!
I started working on F is for Film back in June of last year. It was supposed to come out at the end of the summer, but between a virus that wiped out my friend’s computer and our day jobs it got delayed until 2009. But the New Year brings new hope for F. Our YouTube Channel is open and the first glimpse teaser clip is up.
As usual, it started from a very simple idea = practice on camera acting with a cheap-o movie review/skit show. And then one day it took a turn for the bizarre.
I hope you enjoy. I’ll have more info on a release date soon.
From the F is for Film production diaries which may or may not have at one time ruled the earth in the age before the dawn of man.
We just finished taping our fifth episode (which might be the last one we tape before we start the unwieldy task of final edits for all five shows)
The spectacle that is ROSCOE BANG is not only NSFW, it’s not suitable for anywhere.
The other character in the shot is our shitty CG alien which proved so timely a prop/topic (propic?) that I have a feeling he’ll be popping up again and again to make fun of ever more ridiculous computer generated snafus.
Honestly, I’m going to save your sweet virgin eyes from beholding Rosco (played by our friend Shawn) in his full getup. I want to ravage them in one delirious go when you see the video for yourself. I didn’t include a picture of my costume from this episode because it was an authentic replica and therefore was far too cool for these pages.
