Operation “Rhicover A Smile” is a fund set up by friends of Rhiannon Gregory-Roux, to help cover the medical costs of surgery and treatments she needs to repair potentially life-threatening damage left by a toxic chemotherapy drug she was given for her endometriosis. This drug, named Lupron Depot (Leuprolide acetate), is currently under fire for causing irreversible side effects, such as, damage to the central nervous system, autoimmune disorders, thinning of bones and marrow, memory loss and cognitive dysfunction, just to name a few. To add insult to injury, the majority of the time, Lupron provides little to no benefit to the condition for which it was prescribed. There’s a good reason as to why this might be the case, as the manufacturer, Abbott Labs, had admitted during a lawsuit in 1998, that 80% of the drug trial data was falsified and adequate testing had not been done before FDA approval. Hundreds of thousands of men, women and children have had their lives destroyed because of this drug and despite the overwhelming evidence of toxicity, the FDA has yet to enforce a ban.
